He's been nothing but a good ruler. I dont ignore his cruel actions to Yona, but we should judge him as a whole.

he will gonna die and he gonna suffer like hell, he killed yona's father in the same day of her sixteen birthday, he tried to kill her also and hak too, whatever reasons for me is not an excuse, also he is cruel traitor for doing this to his "friends" for me he is the worst... but we have to wait till the story advances...
I´ve got a hunch.
what if Yona´s father knew and he orchestrated his own dead? I mean, he was brave and wanted peace but he knew all the country leaders believed him to be weak so he told SooWon to do it and become a strong King to protect the kingdom?

Well i think soowon is suit being king, but he need to stop those "villain like" act towards yona and others. And personaly i want yona have free life, i mean like traveling and support people directly is suit her best rather then if she become queen and stay at castle like before.. thats my perspective tho.. haha and i cant imagine hak become king too lolol its just off his chara..
