I have been reading the story, it's the reason why I made this comment in the first place. Yes she's 'synchronizing' with the house, but the way they're doing it is very confusing for me. I don't know if you meant to sound like that, but your comment sounded very rude and sarcastic. Instead of just asking why I don't understand, please do explain to me the reason.
Same goes for you, don't just come up in here and tell me I'm not reading properly without explaining. A whole bunch of confusing stuff is happening and it's obvious I'm struggling to understand it.
IMHO, The plot is currently seem very unstable because both of our main characters are very unstable as well. Dietrich with his corruption and MC's assimilation with charlotte + her mind defense goes on and off. In the beginning she was strong because that steel mind never goes off.
And I think you might have some misunderstanding somewhere but the strory in the beginning told us that our current MC, who supposedly have her memories from Korea only remembers the moment from she wakes up in the mansion all alone until the current Dietrich appears, which means, she maybe never met the other 99 Dietrich, or she didn't remember ever meeting them at all. We still don't know that far.
And the reason she's not acting like an NPC anymore should be because she was given "authority" by the 2nd floor boss, the painter. From there on, she let go of her maid clothes, probably because she doesn't need them anymore. So she now has a control over herself. And also from there on, she never turned into NPC again. Also the fact that she was actually the target for the 3rd floor, not Dietrich (this was said by the little kid)
But I understand why you think everything become a mess. It really did. Because their mind is at chaos, and it focuses on their mental turmoil, the desperation they had for different reasons are taking so much space that somehow the little cute guy is nowhere to be found lately (I'M WORRIED... I HOPE NOTHING HAPPENS TO HIM).
What I mean is, it's still too early to judge as this is a mystery-horror manhwa, so let's see a little bit more. We never knew what plot twist might happen after all.
My suspicion is that the person behind the 4th floor's door is Johanness because he's a very... sly scum. He probably wanted to make the lovers hate each other like it was before. Sighh... depressing af but I'm still so curious about the ending
This manwha had such a good beginning, I love horror shoujo manga so much and I felt this was a perfect mixture of it at first but now, it just stirred completely off plot. Ever since they had 'sex', everything just changed. I'm getting a headache just reading the recent chapters. The floors barely make any sense anymore and so doesn't Charlotte actions either. You're telling me after all these hundreds of tries of Dietrich in this castle, this specific one Dietrich is suddenly so obsessed with you? I don't know, the castle floors and dungeons are basically thrown out the roof now. She's not even acting like an NPC anymore, and her red eyed self just disappeared??
