He does something bad at the end of the novel but tay forgives him cuz he is an angel.
I haven't read DS so I can't say what he is like there.
In suite he and Tay are literally all over each other, especially the last arc I literally got butterflies from all their convos.
Ilay becomes sooooo gentle with tay and tay is literally the most patient man in existence.
Also when I say all that it doesn't mean ilay won't hurt tay, that is just his nature that he can't change and Tay knows that but still chooses to be with him.
Also in another side stories book there is an arc where the T&R murder group play a game where they have to make Tay scream how much he loves Ilay, and they keep showing Tay how much Ilay is literally fucking obsessed with him, and how he turned the og black flag of all black flags to his own personal green flag
