Both are about war, and i just have mention, I like the first much more than the 2nd. The second one just makes me sad

Does anyone know of manga more like this with the plot? Darker themed other worlds? A lot of fantasy worlds are very happy go lucky even tho they could die with monsters and defeating the demon king. I want more like this. Real world bad things getting a real(ish) world fix. Idk what to even call this kind of plot so if anyone could help out I’d be very thankful.
