There's so many things not to like about him and I think it's fine for the reader's not to like him coz at least a lot of people are aware that just coz a person's actions are driven by trauma does not excuse a lot of the shit he's doing. Takes a LOT of empathy and compassion to ever deal with that kind of baggage.
