I agree with everything you said but the only issue I take with this manhwa is the rape scenes that happened in earlier chapters and the fact that there's no clear goal in sight for the narrative. Also, I lost track of why they're collecting those temple jewels in the first place

I don't agree with the rape scenes too esp the caravan one and the horus Seth extra non con chapter. It made me very uncomfortable and I usually skip but I understand mojito keeps the plot close to mythology lore.. I just hope we don't see Seth suffer anymore . Also regarding the plot there use to be ppl who'd put recap explanations I forgot why they were on this specific journey as well
Well in the actual mythology Seth did try to rape horus in order to shame him and assert dominance, and in a way Horus did SA him back. In the beginning the manhwa was actually pretty accurate to what actually happened (besides the mirror stuff) idk where the plot is going now tho

Didn't know ennead blew up on the net among general and het media consuming folk. No wonder I kept seeing hate comments here that I never found before. It's funny these woke mfkers are offended on behalf of ancient Egyptians as if ancient Egyptians didn't themselves write about Seth having horus's semen in his lettuce salad or other incesty- blabla xyz pairings between their gods n all. And this manhwa isn't even disrespectful in the slightest. Ennead has more plot, complicated well written multiple layered characters than any the modern day dark romance hades persephone or Zeus X [insert character] story.
You won't find people complaining about marvel including Nordic gods in their plots but when it's a yaoi suddenly everything is blasphemous
