the most interesting aspect about the ennead lore is humans having such a significant sociological influence on the gods themselves that they end up subjecting themselves to human conventions eg. gender binaries, monogamy etc. (remember what ra said during seth’s trial when nephthys was convinced her betrayal and infidelity) like you can marry your siblings but you can’t do polyamory? like you’re immortal gods no one cares if you are in a freaky polycule. the plot of this manhwa would be cut by half if a) the was no incestuous marriage, b) seth, isis, osiris, nephthys decided to be romantically and sexually intimate together (all of them), c) osiris wasn’t a conniving weirdo. point b would be funny to read once horus enters the picture tho.
