I don’t really remember the genre, but the plot was like mc was rescued by a community in an isolated village that worshipped a couple that lived outside de village (aka “paradise”). The village had no contact to the outside world and did everything by themselves. When mc starts getting better they ask mc to start helping, and when bad start things happening they suspect/blame mc. There is a waterfall that the community believes its the path to paradise and the couple they worship sometimes come visit them through it and chooses someone who is ready to go to paradise, but in reality they become like slaves to entertain nobles . Mc notices something weird, crosses the waterfall and ends up in the couple’s palace (i think it was a golden palace?). Mc is hiding and trying to run away cause mc is not supposed to be there.
