Tbh I like what the author did with the omegaverse ! They took the bond/link/soulmates things which make the main relationship just that more special, it’s also interesting to have every characters having no clue what’s going on and society having to learn and adapt to it. It’s a fresh take and add to the lore.
Big novel spoilers in some of this - Their bond is genuinely made better by the omegaverse element imo and I am an omegaverse hater. There are scenes where they essentially converse through their pheromones without saying a word to eachother. As a reader it is honestly insane how the author managed to convey how completely these two trust and understand eachother without making them too similar or boring. Just a perfect representation of a couple who are better together than apart. Their emotional bond is just beautifully described and I worry it’ll be hard to adapt it into the manhwa properly. If you took out the omegaverse it would still slap but the way the author chooses to subvert and stay within the expectations of the genre are very intentional and very very good. (Also, Yuder commenting on anti-omega discrimination and taking concrete steps to prevent that in his second life is so based ily king).
