kid awoke xiao hu as a human bc the xbt line is human-based, and kid also tricked him and switched their bodies, as he intended to use xiao hu's body to escape, leaving xiao hu in kid's body to die. xiao hu, in kid's shell, killed the real kid which destroyed the xbt shell. he made it back to major ling, and then used xbt-409113 to backup the existing xiao hu into the network. major ling then destroyed kid's shell. xbt-409113 was also instructed to disguise his memory of this. xiao hu's backup data was then added into a new xbt shell, reviving xiao hu, who immediately recognized major ling. they are free and together in the end.
