Seems like Hwan wanted to date Pung, but it didn’t work out, so he impulsively dated around with people who resembled him. Pung is jealous of those people, but won’t admit it, so he takes it out on Hwan. A bit of self awareness and communication will boil away a lot of that toxicity

I dont think they ever got together despite the dynamic. I think at one of the earlier chapters Pung-ho complained indirectly about this and thats why Daddy over here only got with people that looked like him because he never confessed his feelings
