If that were true, the reasoning is a bit finicky with the fact Maru has flashbacks to facing Gluttony as his dad holds him in place. Memories of the two existing as seperate beings with one wishing to kill them both, and the other hoping his kid gets powers.
Am i the only one thinks the gluttony is his dad?? cause the way he protect Maru is just so
