All I heard from Marius is "me, me, me". Like bitch, take a look around and actually THINK. Like this guy is not capable of empathy. He legit thought "dang, so your fighting me cuz I imprisoned(and probably killed) this one girl??" And then the moment he regresses, he distances himself cuz he is "hurt".. like mf, have you ever THOUGHT that maybbeeeee it's your fault??
My jaw legit DROPPED when I saw that the reason Marius was avoiding Edgar cuz Edgar "betrayed" him.. but when not even 2 seconds later, my jaw went back up. This dude is dumb af, and literally the perfect person to be an emperor. His personality is just perfect, he will hurt other ppl without care as long as it's for his kingdom or whatever. And he is also incapable of feeling empathy and love. Don't come for me stating he is capable because he cared about Edgar in the first tl, nah uh. Watch him see a kid starving by the side of the road and he won't bat an eye, that's literally just his personality. If he can't gain anything, then that's that. Literally a perfect emperor.
Anyways, enough of my sarcastic rant, I now know fully well why novel readers hates this guy and wishes for the eldest sister to have a better ml. CUZ SHE DEF DOES.
