Oh the angst is cooking I can already foresee the tragedy.
Right now (forgot his name deadass) but this man is a man who never had a chance to be a father. His memory of his daughter is purely imaginative, He did not know his daughter as a person since he was forcibly shut out, and only knew her as an idea. Ofc he is her father at the end of the day and there will be an unconditional love only a parent will have, but judging from how shocked he was regarding the crowd his daughter hanged out with, he did not truly know her enough to bond with her.
What I can see happening is that he will project this idea of his daughter onto our MC and develop a bond. A interesting development will be which one he will love more and I can already see a dilemma when the truth comes out and if he would continue his revenge.
The idea of his daughter, someone connected to his blood but never knew, or the bond of the actual girl (mc), someone he will most likely develop a real relationship with compared to his relationship with his biological daughter, but then there is the daughter of his and his lover.
Not to mention the drama since I can see him becoming a father figure to our mc, the guilt will eat her alive when she finds out the truth what she did to his daughter.
