I really hope that the artist can save this story considering how the first arc was the best one and everything went downhill after that

Mangago deleted my reply but yeah it did become really confusing later on but I believe the artist can make this a better story, it’s been seen many times comic versions being better than their respective novels

I’ll just say what I remember since I read months ago
- Mc and ml work together to get rid of that crazy old man experimenting and killing the children he brings
- Mc saved ml when the orphanage was burning down but mc sacrificed himself and the ml thought he died in the fire
-mc somehow survived along with the crazy old man (unknown to the ml) and lost his memory, spending a good amount of time taking care of the old man thinking that’s he’s his grandpa
-Old man dies because mc was accidentally feeding him poisonous stuff (he didn’t know)
-I forgot why the mc left his town but he ends up meeting the fml of the original novel along with another character
-I missed some details but the mc and ml meet again but the ml returned to the town to bring back the demon king (?) (my memories getting worse now) He was angry at the town and wanted to avenge mc but he finds him before he does anything but the mc doesn’t remember him
-The 4 of them then go on this quest where they have ti get rid of the demon king(?) somehow it still revived
-Most of the second half is action filled and was difficult to translate so I’ll stop here
-Novel is HE though (please forgive my bad memory and take the second half of this with a grain of salt)
