If they had talked to each other from the beginning, many things wouldn't have happened, it's all misunderstandings. But mc doesn't tell ml many truths just to protect him, it will be explained as the story progresses.
This is going to go left so quick… I would say fuck it and just tell him the whole truth at this point.
