Fr, like perform at a bar or something where’s there’s people of all ages (above 21), would make it feel a lot less student event-y
I feel like this whole method of confessing/showing his feelings highlights their age gap and difference in personalities. Poor baby is trying so hard when just a few conversations would have conveyed his feelings.
I feel like this scene in the cafe would probably not help in regards to the relationship because a 40 year old surrounded by a bunch of college kids just highlights the age gap even more.
