I thought so too, I think Hestia’s initial war path in the name of Kael brought about some of it, but even with the knowledge of to do better Diana still went full swing into denial. A possible reason she lost her saintly powers is due to her hypocrisy, she claims to be an advocate for the poor while never again actually giving them aid and spending time with them like she did before becoming the crown princess. Like in the past, she’s so self-absorbed she can’t see that Helios does love her even when he tells her things she doesn’t like about herself or the kingdom. I mean Helios is wrong for not recognizing how his best-friend was doing and that they loved the same women, but hat least he seemed to own up to that on some level. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like him over Kael! I just pity him cause he seems to genuinely want to repair his relationship with Diana but she’s too far gone at this point… I feel like he’ll end up used and heartbroken (quite ironic considering that was the way Kael ended up like)
