It's bc it doesn't notify you of the update when it happens. Mgg has two times a day where it shows you all the mangas that updated in between
Pretty sure if you check your notifications all the mangas updates will say the same time everyday
idk in what timezone mgg but for me it usually shows at 10:30 and 22:30

How long does it usually take for ur updated chapters to show up in ur notifs? sometimes i see there’s a new chapter but it shows up in notifs hrs later
