Yeah, he had a normal, bright, loving son even after the wife’s betrayal came out. He’s the one who destroyed his kid to the point he couldn’t become the successful, self driven man the father wanted him to be. He purposely created a violent, unstable person, and stuck him next to his son as an example of “what not to be”. What he did to Sangjin was honestly more sadistic than killing him would have been.
