I think it’s the other fantasy race aspect, the sheer desperation, and the thing torturing the MC being the thing they always come back to in the end.

I adore the art direction, it’s unique and exaggerated. The demon seems more alive that the priest in the dark but when shone with light, his skin is as dead as the priest. The contrast between the bright demons and dull priest is right up my alley yes sir. I hope the artist doesn’t get bullied to change their art to be more “palatable” because I can totally see their intention and color symbolism they’re trying to go for and I love it. No more basic ass characters please
