It'll be ok come onnnnn. I know we are used to weirr bls with those kind of tropes but in real life kids that age doesnt really understand human relationships in general, they will ask around they wanna marry their dads moms sisters just to be with them forever

i get what you’re tryna say, but just like everyone else said, it’s not uncommon for kids to say things like that. they just know they love their family and that one of the closest bonds in the world are that of marriages, therefore love = marriage. they don’t consider what type of love in their little and inexperienced brains, esp seeing as they can’t comprehend romantic love the way an adult does
my niece said the same thing abt her older brother when she was like 4 or 5. when my sister told her that one day her brother would get married and move out, she got upset and was like “well then ill marry him instead.” she even added “we just won’t kiss”. it was rlly cute and funny in my opinion. just think of it as smth innocent (cause it is)
i genuinely hope his brother grows up to be still clingy but not weird because i was kiiiiinda weirded out this chapter but whatever
