Why did you even continue reading the story after the first half? At that point it was clear that taeju was going to be endgame and iirc his redemption arc was starting, and most readers referred to him as "recyclable trash" understanding fully that his actions were awful but for some reason you kept reading a story that clearly didn't fit your taste and made you uncomfortable. I haven't see a single person say "rape is fine because he apologized", this is a dark romance and everyone who is reading it should be aware that this is not a healthy relationship, is fiction that we enjoy because we like dog blood romance
