Totally a brutal way to die, ML should've taken a knife and killed him in one go. Not a bat beating, that shit is torture. I'm against ML's way of killing the men.
BUT, if we LOOK at the CIRCUMSTANCES they are IN. (Apocalyptic world, scarce resources, fucked up way of living), the rule was reasonable.
GUYS, If they did let this man go, it sets an example to EVERYONE that it's okay to break the rule (because the ruler is soft hearted and kind. )
