I don't know about you guys but when fish is very fresh and you just caught it, we don't do any prep at all. So far I don't heart any parasite problem growing up.
As for the raw octopus, I think koreans eat the little ones raw. I saw some vids on yt.
Same here. We don't freeze them if it's fresh (not the ones in the market)

IRL, sushi is flash frozen to get rid of parasites
I mean I love sushi but Al the worms are gonna eat through your stomach lining
You have ice magic you can literally flash freeze it
Sidenote, I wasn't aware people ate octopus raw. I've only had it cooked, now I'm curious!
