I love this, but I will say one thing. Ol' girl completely overstepped in the thing with his father. It works out here, because its fiction and love conquers all and such. However, if your partner has expressed a want to not be in contact with family. Don't do what she did her. 9.5 times out of 10, it's not gonna turn out like this. You will destroy any trust you partner has in you, and more than likely you'll find your well-meaning ass by yourself wondering where everything went wrong because obviously "family is family".
