wait omg are yall really not getting it? guys, ITS ABOUT SURVIVAL. they are literally trapped in this so-called realistic town while saving their asses frm something worse outside of those gates. i bet yall havent watched enough movies over ts but this is usually how it goes. u break a rule, u die. no matter what excuses u had. and honestly, ik its really brutal to kill someone over such a thing but it is what it is. tbh, if it was to happen irl, i fear... this is exactly how it would go. also, about the story... i feel like, his son, woojun, he is infected or something. cus yall see how he has always been sick? and what if his dad knew it and didnt wanted his kid to die so he stole the meds, thinking they would well?

It’s not egotistical because he didn’t this for his own benefit, he did it for the benefit of his child. This was desperation and sacrifice. Sure rules are rules, but think about how some laws in the real world are bullshit to an extreme extent. He wasn’t hurting anyone and he himself ended up getting hurt. This town is insane, and Guwon isn’t a “good” guy. But this is a story and we have a lot left to see

honestly, when the shoe is on the other foot, i hope you’re not trying to appeal to emotion to justify why they shouldn’t harm guwon bc it’s most definitely going to happen.

I think people are putting the same logic and common sense they have irl in an apocalyptic setting. The father IS selfish to think that his child is important than the group but ofc that's his son. Rules are rules and the group takes priority over the individual are extreme rules that mostly happens here

i’m gonna see how things play out bc my hypothesis is that some of you only align with this reasoning bc it’s guwon. when they turn on him, do you think to they’d be justified in killing him?

That'd actually be a good plot point now that u said it. Coz what happens to Guwon if he actually fails to do his own duty and breaks his own rules like u said for teach, does the town have the power to kill him or is Guwon just gonna let it happen since he thinks it's justified.
