The girl? She’s definitely suspicious but maybe she did it for the kid and the father took the blame but still doesn’t change that the townspeople took the vote, as Big Bear said, the crime was just was part of the law, they choose to kill him.
Kind of understandable if you take in consideration the times they’re living and the “low supply”
Alright everyone, as hot af as the previous chapters were we need to remember that this is taking place during an apocalypse where its literally survival of the fittest and preservation is critically upheld. So of course the rules are going to be different to our current ones.
The rule became the law of the land by not one person but by the whole community out of precaution. How the punishment for breaking this rule is questionably severe.
But it was explained that there was leniency with supplies back then but it hurt them immensely and might have caused them to almost lose more than a Hound, so its understandable that no one is exempt from punishment.
I think the main questions we should be asking in this situation is how did it come to this? Could the father had made a request for the medicine since it was circumstantial? Also did Gyeongha have anything to do with the theft when she was caught by Jinwoo in the supply warehouse in Chapter 14?
I hope there will be some light shed on how we got here.
It was also interesting to see Guwon blaming and striking himself first before carrying out the sentence. As if he was in a way saying "This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you."
Thanks for coming to my TED talk and very curious of this will play out.
