Does he? I don't think Guwon really has feelings of guilt at al. He was ready to abandon the teacher guy to die if he didn't seem useful in the beginning. Let's not forget about how he's unconcerned and pragmatic first above all else and didn't show real remorse then either. He was more curious than anything else.

That's what I'm wondering, but to me still it seems like he doesn't understand many things. Not saying he doesn't understand what tu murder is. It's more like he learned the patterns, if it's not useful for the community leave it, if it breaks the law kill it, if you like it for some reason claim it as yours - jewelry and house, if it's useful, if it's supplies bring it with you. And he pretty much looks like he was gangster before he became what he is now, muscle memory don't leave you that easily.
I'm not defending him, I'm just trying to understand how their personalities work (teacher's too)
Personally, if someone like him appeared in front of me I would fuck off to another country if even that is far enough, but in this setup his character makes sense. Plus, I doubt this author will give us some psychotic piece of shit, since she herself claimed she hate such characters and that's why her previous story was really successful (not the only reason for popularity ofc)

Oh absolutely I'm not attacking your opinion, just wanted to share my analysis too (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I think sometimes authors get bored and try something 'fun' to shake things up. But any which way I slice the pie with Guwon unless the entire village is full of criminal scum, I can't really look past the diabolical way he just erased someone in this last chapter or the way in which it was done.

Sorry if my comment came as defensive, I didn't mean you said anything other than different perspective
I honestly didn't expect such execution, and above that with baseball bat. In my head the worst possible punishment was like expelling him from the town to be on his own among 'zombies' and natural disasters not taking his life in such brutal way. Still, I suspect that some people in that town aren't as good, but we'll see. I'm always way to hyped when interesting story comes out, so I'm yapping to much hahahhaha
I'm not trying to erase what he just did, ok! I'm just thinking about all possibilities for plot to unfold because I'm just a way to curious
I'm sure Guwon is hound ( because he's one of 2 MCs and the story's name and everything else up to now). And if the hounds need medicine to stay alive, we got our answers. But what I'm curious about is, are the hounds, or at least Guwon aware of some things. We saw him learning things like newborn baby and it makes me sad he had to kill that guy. Firstly because of the guy and his poor little child (most of the parents woud go beyond evry logic and risk everything for their child) secondly because Guwon clearly feels guilty because of how things turned out but what if someone thought him that execution is right thing to do and law has to be followed so he's doing it anyway and he's already I dare to say naive, more looks like someone we still haven't seen, is using him as a thing and without
medication they can dispose of him too (stories like this usually have a villain guy or entire government of villains lol).
