sorry where in the story did they say it was “one piece of medicine”?? in actuality, if a sickness has someone’s life at risk, chances are they will need more than “one piece” of medicineand it’s a post apocalyptic world, there are no hospitals, and there’s a SHORTAGE on meds, they literally said that in the last chapter, what if one of the other children gets sick and there no meds? or how about the analogy they used bc it’s happened before; the hounds come back seriously injured and there’s no meds. you just sacrificed people right there. or what if an illness comes over the whole town and the meds that was used on that boy is now gone then more people will die. again, you just sacrificed the whole town of people and children and you want EVERYONE to be ok with that?? are you ok? like in REALITY, he should’ve took him to the doctor, if that didn’t work; talked to the leader about telling the hounds to look for more meds, and if that didn’t work, he could’ve asked to go out and find them himself. he should’ve exhausted EVERY possibility before just going straight to theft and sacrificing his life and those around him. again, i don’t think death was the right punishment but if EVERYONE, including him, agreed on it, oh well.

i meeeaaannn the dad KNEW the consequences for his actions, they ALL agreed upon it, and he STILL did it anyway. why didn’t he just take the kid to the doctor, or ask for help, or even offer to go looking for meds himself?instead he risked the life of those going out for HIS and the WHOLE towns supplies. also, he basically sacrificed another child to save his, bc those hounds are someone’s children as well, not to mention, they are the protectors and supply runners, if they get hurt, it puts the whole town in jeopardy. it was a pretty selfish move. although, i think death was too extreme, but if EVERYONE agreed on that punishment, i get it. and for MC to be new to the town not knowing what they’ve been through, or their rules but thinking he gets to have an opinion or even feel entitled to hit Guwon is kinda crazy. not saying he should be ok with it but c’mon now. like the same way he wasn’t ok with his punishment being death, everyone there weren’t ok with being sacrificed to save his kid. like that dad sacrificed EVERYONE in that town, including the other children, and the hounds just to save his 1 kid, and yall don’t see a problem with that?? ok ig
