I mean, I can't disagree to what you've said because like what really is the point of omegaverse in a straight story. The male and female despite their secondary gender as an alpha/omega/beta after making out are gonna literally have a baby, so like what's the point in it as an omegaverse? I read a story like this but it was actually good, the plot being that they thought they were fated mates but then after the secondary sex examination... Both of them were betas. (Seems like they just felt love at first sight, not fated mate bond or something)

ANd, while obviously straight omegaverse isn't aimed at yaoi and yuri fans, we josei fans are nevertheless interested in seeing a straight FL and a straight ML in omegaverse. Again yall just don;t get straight omegaverse but there is a target demographic for it. Best to just skip straight omegaverse if it's not your cup of tea :)

Just give either of the guy or the girl aphrodisiac and that's literally the so called straight omegaverse, it's boring, bland, generic, already in many hentai/smut plots without it being omegaverse. Omegaverse however in queer stories makes so much more sense, the pregnancy aspect for the males and the penises for the females.
