True, even after all he has been through he still is empathetic and kind however showing kindness can always lead to something bad like being betrayed or having to carry someone who is of no help to them and in scenarios like this, it can likely happen. But none the less we just have to wait for that bl plot miracle.

Of course it is dangerous given the setting, but it shows that despite all the mutations and horrors that MC experienced he is still not devoid of empathy and kindness thus reflecting that in his essence he is still very much human and I think it’s beautiful
There is nothing “stupid” or “useless” about wanting to help out a child especially in a situation like this and for the rest, come what may, we all know these manhwas never end on a sad note anyways
