agree. if I didn't read the novel I'll be satisfied with this but i DID read it and yeah, novel is much more better as it's detailed and the original where this came from. this manhwa is much more like a summary of the novel
They did Bloom dirty! His fight was so much more intense, I loved the imagery of him absolutely stained in blood at the end of a brutal fight (where he made sure not to land a killing blow). They also completely cut his rescue mission!

honestly the only reason i read the novel was because i wasnt satisfied with this i think it was when yanu and eyra fought, but i was like damn theres no way it was this shittily paced in the novel and then i decided to read the novel for myself and my mind was blown. the manhwa feels like a promotion of the novel atp.
i hate to be one of those "the novel is better" people but the novel is lowkey better. this adaptation honestly feels very flat and while the art is very pretty it feels super stiff and doesn't do justice to the characters' inner emotions. its gotten the point where i feel like this story "tells" instead of "shows" which is insane because its a manhwa, manhwas are supposed to "show". they skip over so many things in here that develop the story and the characters. if u guys want to read the story in its best version, imo u should read the novel. i dont have a link with me rn but many other people have linked it in the comments.
