Hound > sick child.
I doubt the kid never got medicine, it's just that burning too much on a kid that is constantly sick versus an injured hound makes no sense. (Logically, I mean, not emotionally.)
So, in this instance, the kid would be a resource burn with a low guarantee of return, while a hound has and could provide more benefits. If the hound is too far gone, I'm guessing they would let them die rather than waste medicine too.
With that said, I couldn't do that.
I am so confused. Arent children and hounds supposed to be the priority in an apocalyptic world. Children need to be protected if they intend to further the human generation. I would have understood if the dad had taken the medicine for someone who wasnt a child but he literally did it to protect the kid, not even himself. So are they gonna let the kid die now?
