Reasoning as for why youd wanna do it aside, what would be the point of blocking a work/story? Like how would you make that work since you can read the summary and decide to skip the story since it has something you dislike? I get blocking users (which is already a thing but could be improved) but blocking stories wouldnt change much. Maybe an option to hide them from you would be more suitable?
yup i meant hiding them. i wish there'd be an option to hide certain stories so that i dont have to be reminded of them + blocking users which will hide their comments since some of them comment literally the most depraved things ever

real... theres this one user i specifically want gone i would litr pay for that to happen. the only good thing about the block button rn is that when im arguing with someone & they start to bring up stupid points, I'll just block them so that they arent able to reply back <3 this gets them so pressed lmaoooooo they end up making seperate threads to call me out
I can imagine a couple of users you may be talking about.. in particular in the forums...thank god I've never had this happen yet tho every time I block them , it successfully shuts them up for good, ain't got no time to deal with their ridiculous opinions sometimes
