I think that's why the main character is there though. He's the pixie dream girl that will teach Guwon how to lead and behave, thus making everyone else fall into line.
OR, Jinwoo will learn their lifestyle the hardway by letting multiple die because of his decisions.

exactly! I think seeing Jinwoo become morally grey would be a little boring? Personally I'd love to see it, but I'd expect it to be more like u said, him teaching them how to behave appropriately. Either way I'm here for it

Killing him is fair imo. It's the way they went about it is harsh. Beaten to death is too much. They could've killed him quickly

They all know the law, they all know the punishment and they even get a say with the voting.
Remember, they're living harsh times. Maybe you forget there's zombies and civilization is actually in ruins just ouside of their little community.

I actually genuinely agree with Guwon, prioritising the people who get them all supplies over average citizens makes sense. Killing that guy was definitely too harsh, but it could be of lesson to everyone else in town: if they dare steal something they'll end up the exact same way. The conditions they're in are too cruel and bad to think about stuff like prison, they don't have the resources for it and something like prison would make the citizens think there's a way of redemption and would make them keep breaking the rules cause either way nothing especially frightening, like death, is gonna happen to them, there's no consequences to their actions besides being locked up for a bit. If Jinwoo wants to leave Guwon, I'd understand where he's coming from but I personally understand Guwon.
