Rations are low. Jail would've used up more resources. Death is fair but they should've given him a quick death by stabbing instead of beating him to death, that's the cruel part.

as a chief , what he did isnt wrong . they’re in a thight position where everything was difficult to find especially a medicine and yes ik that the father’s doing it bcs of his son but still.. stealing is never a good choice even tho you’re in a tight position
