[MAIN STORY SPOILERS] izuna x rin is such a big canon potential, only if both ibara & haruaki don't exist, lmao. aside from ibara & izuna's marriage, rin's first love is haruaki & based on the main story, he's definitely falling for that man all over again. the mikis definitely have a type for compassionate & strong idiots though
If! I mean If! Ibara San wasn't included in the picture, I'd say, Izuna kun and Rin kun would just be the best pair and partners, considering all the stuff this spin off gives us...I kind of imagined this if world, where Ibara San isn't married or in love with Izuna kun.
Also considering the main story, about the meiji arc, If Ibara was not his wife, then Kai kun had a chance too...
So all i can say, that The Homosexual subtexts are very much clear yet due to the canon pair both are just not able to get the light of the day.
Again, I don't mean to offend anyone. It's just how I felt after reading the first meeting chapter of Izuna and Rin. I still love their beautiful relationship even in canon universe tho. But well a guy can dream hehe~
