uhm so this has been my comfort story since before season 2 would be put into making, it was my whole roman empire but i gotta say im dissapointed with how the ending turned out it was a happy ending but i couldn't really feel the impact of the story that it used to have during its first two seasons (especially the first one) main thing that bothers me is that i loved the daughter but she feels like she was there to just take over and have them retire earlier, which what was the point of all that hard work then being done in s1 n 2, i wanted to see them ruling together and teacher her and preparing her more to take over, like i get the point of those 2 seasons kindaaa was to create a better world where everyone especially the future generation would live better but idk it also rlly bothers me that it didn't feel like they had any actual real bond with her, if the author wanted to add a family aspect to it i feel like they could've done a better job at it but i will say i rlly like that unlike wolfgang and the rest of the now grown generation who had to suffer so much at the hands of the last king, the daughter gets to grow up in a healthy and carefree environment without the pressure of having to be perfect ig what s3 was mainly lacking was the tension n the crisis tho it kinda js felt like random side stories mashed together which didn't feel like it had any purpose other than for it to just be there so they could get married, i could very much be wrong but idk I couldn't feel it hitting the same anymore
