Welp, once episode 88 drops....

...we're gonna see a lot of whining here So far, with how episode 88 went, Taekyung has no hidden motivation/plan for going back to Heeseo. Imo, that's thinking too far and out of storyline. Tae-kyung's own lines in episode 88 were 'Still, I'm glad. This time, I can hug you.', thinking about his regrets when they parted 8 years ago.

So please, if you're already hating what's happening, do yourself a favor, don't stress out and just forget about this manhwa. Live a life free of hate (⌒▽⌒)

What people don't understand is how much Taekyung regretted his decision back then. At the back of his mind, he's always known that his adoptive mother was the one who did it, but he investigated and investigated until he can no longer fool himself that it wasn't her, then asked her to turn herself in. He stood firm in front of her that he'll stay beside Heeseo and be his support no matter what, but faced with the responsibility, the heaviness of the situation and probably the idea of losing his "family" too, he crumbled and chose to chase Heeseo away. I love the last 2 episodes of season 1 no matter what everyone says!

I honestly can't blame Taekyung, but what if he stood by Heeseo's side 8 years ago and supported him as he originally planned?

What if Heeseo hadn't st@bbed Taekyung then?

If y'all focus on the negativity, you won't understand the depth of the story and characters.

I appreciate you comprehending this media instead of immediately pointing blame at the characters, I feel nervous to leave any comments on this manwha because everyone jumps immediately to conclusion ( ̄へ ̄)

The story, the characters and the creator deserve so much more than the hate ╥﹏╥ I know it's not perfect, but it's not stupid and tr@sh as others deemed it, they just don't understand the whole point and just focus on one thing ( ̄へ ̄)

    Yes thank you!
And (not excusing) but when Heeseo understood that Taekyung wouldn't choose him, he didn't kidnapped Taekyung thinking he would love him back at some point (even tho he maybe wished for it). He intentionally r@ped him (knowing what it was), he forced himself to be violent (even tho he loved Tkg and didn't want to). So that if he couldn't be loved, he would be hated.
This story is not romanticising r@pe. Heeseo knew what he was doing. And it's heartbreaking to see.
This story is very well written, with very complex emotional characters. We're far from titles like Jinx

In short, what I meant is that Heeseo is far from the usual toxic seme who uses r@pe to assert dominance and possessiveness. That was not his goal. (Not that there is ever a good reason to do it)

Exactly this. As I said in one of my previous comments here, not everything is black or white, there's always something in between. Heeseo knew what he was doing, even back then 8 years ago, he would do extreme things just to get Taekyung's attention, so doing things to earn Taekyung's hate is something predictable of Heeseo. There is no excuse for what he did, but there is a reason behind it. But the same with any other stories, it depends on these two characters to address their issues together.

People would preach about morals, like don't come to me about morals here when this is a piece of literature. I know my own morals and I take them seriously IN REAL LIFE.
