I think the author can pull this off quality wise, as in keeping the story itself entertaining and tied together nicely-- but tone-wise, this could really mess up any emotional ties to (and between) characters, so I'm just praying the author doesn't forget this is supposed to be an emotionally-driven narrative
I'm not sure I like this
There's this pattern I've noticed
Most romance isekai works start off really well and manage to maintain the quality through most of the plot
But when it comes to actually finishing the story the quality drops immensely
The author introduces a new concept about magic, gods, fate or something meta like a game system
Then they use this new concept to justify the ending
And I'm afraid this is following the same pattern
If it was introduced early on, it might've been cool (like in Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess), but at this point?
Idk man
I'm really hoping the author pulls this off
