yes. sometimes there is genuine experimentation that's just curiosity & opportunism, but a lot of it is social pressure and denial. also we are fucking stupid. most of us genuinely do not think anger is an emotion, so imagine how little we understand of attraction. but of course, anyone can be involved with people they're not attracted to as well.
