Don't get me wrong I was so happy that slow burn finally started burning but I am not necessarily happy that it started burning like dry forest covered in gasoline. It just after first scene of them going every second chapter was about them getting freaky it just felt like somebody spit in my face after spending so much time watching their relationship progress for so long suddenly there is no progress just smut. Idk if it's changing afterwards bc I got so mad I didn't finish reading novel but yeah
I totally get that frustration. I think the main reason is that they’ve been friends for so long that they just skip most of the development and go for the boombayah. Ngl, ever since that chapter where the ML jerked it from a wet dream, I knew where the story was headed
