Did you read the whole thing already? She literally told Diego that she pitied him too since he was also beaten as a child?? She was being cautious around Diego because the Diego that she knew killed the kids. That's why Duke Bertha at the hand of Diego was necessary. Also ofc she condemns him killing the Duke because it IS still murder, but she shows a lot of empathy and understanding towards Diego as well around the chapter 20 mark (i dont remember specific chapter)
I did, she only started pitying him when the butler hit her with his lore. Only then did she went "well, ofc I also pity him." My point still stands, the fl was so out of line with her comment, showing full on hostile to the ml, WHILE knowing fully well that he's literally fighting off the assassin's that his father sent him. But then she goes on cowering when it comes to the duke??? The ml's situation is literally kill or be killed, and she had the audacity to say that. If she's so brave, why couldn't she show the same hostility towards the duke?? You know, the ROOT of the problem??? It's as if she's only condemning the ml just cuz he killed the kids. Like I get it, they are innocent. But let's not forget the ml is also an innocent kid, but ofc the duke doesn't care and still tries to kill him. She should've directed that anger towards the duke, for making the ml's life a living hell that made him lose mercy towards his own siblings. But ofcccc, all of that doesn't matter cuz he still killed the iNnOcEnT kIdS in the first tl. How could he do that?!?!?! I mean, even if he was living in a nightmare since birth, there is noooo waayyy he went mentally crazy, right??
And I forgot to mention, the fl's actions would've been a bit reasonable ONLY if the ml still killed the kids in the current tl. But ofc, she has to show her nasty ass personality, stating something along the lines of "oh so killing the duke was necessary??" BUT NO?? THE KIDS ARE STILL ALIVE??? I'm just glad that the butler had to shut her ass up and reminded her of his life. She can never truly sympathize with him, cuz guess what?? She never went through whatever the ml's life was growing up! She lived a decent life, and got a job that she wanted. She never had to kill off assassins her parents sent to her. She literally never had to kill someone.
Okay I get that the fl is all for the "kids are innocent", but tf was that comment of the fl in chapter 14 stating "oh so the death of the duke was necessary"??? It literally irks me how her attitude towards the ml is sooo stupid(sorry English isn't my first language, so idk what word fits more), compared to her attitude towards the duke and duchess. I'm glad the Butler shut her ass up, explaining the ml's horrible situation. I don't understand how the fl cant sympathize with the ml too.
