I'm not sure if I'm misunderstood what u meant by saying dream, but s2 was Brian's past life. The plot just blended back into the present by making Brian dream about it

How to I explain it , I mean hmm means during season two we were shown Brian's past life through Ian's dreams, Because honestly Ian is the reincarnation of Brian that's what I mean.
