In case you didn't realize that, "not caring" in his standard are high. Even in the Blondie pov, he still see ml in more different/special way compare to other people he knew from the start. 90% of ppl in Blondie pov was like a ghost, no name no face. Pretty sure mc slowly liking or getting used with ml but just realized his own feelings cuz he's oblivious to it. It's just that "one moment" seal the deal.
he literally switched from not caring to liking him? it felt unnatural and kinda ruined the tension and slow burn i thought we'd get... kinda disappointed
