Yeah I also loathe when people assume “a child needs a mother figure” so the dad brings in a new woman to fill the slot, as if that’s not going be traumatic as well. Of course having a step parent who cares can be life changing, but in a lot of Asian comics, they talk about it as if it’s a role to be filled by whatever random woman who is willing to remarry the father
I dunno. I have a beef with an old woman who acts they are very capable but within the process, children went through a traumatic experience. Then, have the audacity to judge a man trying his best to raise a daughter even far from scene was the first one to rescue the children.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧ GGGRRRRR! DO SOMETHING CAPABLE FIRST!
