gosh what’s the point of this? bl or yaoi is literally about boys’ love. this story is just about a guy tormenting the other guy for the sake of revenge. the rape, beating, confinement, torture all done out of spite. i understand some authors choose to write twisted, toxic, violent plot for a bl but it all boils down to one reason, “love”, or at least the ML version of it. but what the hell is this?

Idk man, I've been seeing a lot of toxic yaoi. Like, so many of them have the obsessive seme trope and some kind of non-con. Only the shounen ai ones are better. Idk if this author has some trauma dumping from her own experience or just likes extremely toxic shit.

i mean, for someone who actually prefers reading toxic, twisted, obsessive bl’s, this one is a bit nonsensical to me. i wonder if ppl who disliked this comment just likes violent stories with no plot?

Well, I actually find this one interesting to read (not for the gang rape obviously) cause of the revenge angle and creepy vibes. Currently reading the novel now and it does have a plot revealing why the ML is making the MC suffer. It's interesting to read in-between the lines with the ML's mood and actions and words once you know that he's taking revenge on the MC. But yeah I wouldn't put this in the 'love' category that you mentioned. The novel specifically states there is no love trope between the two characters. I have no doubt there are people who like stories just for the torture porn though, whatever floats their kink I guess.
