i kinda wanna see in the extras where he finds the author and is utterly disappointed by how she's basically just an edgelord chuuni and comes to a realization that he literally gave up his entire smooth sailing life as the golden boy heir to obsess over THAT piece of work
or even better the vengeful Ediths create a world where Cliff manages to slip in, & the author thinks it's a romcom/rofan but slowly comes to a realization that it's a horror/murder mystery and one of these people is secretly the one obsessed psychotic dude she couldn't get rid of
