im half way through the novel and all i can say is this man is as green as his own forest ...

Girl, you rlly gotta read the novel—there are so many intimate moments that words can’t do justice. Tristan definitely falls first, he also gets way more curious about Eden and his body.

Like, deadass, even though he said he couldn’t do it with a guy at first, he mostly is the one to initiate sex atp, but not 'cause he has to, but more so 'cause he genuinely wants to do it.
Lowkey; he’s a sex addict.

Keep in mind, tho, that for Eden it’s still pretty painful and thus not always enjoyable, but he’s starting to get attached to Tristan and the mansion in his own way.

The reason why I said Tristan was a green flag, thi, is ’cause compared to other “I’m-only-gay-for-you” tops, he is very emotionally intelligent. Instead of blaming Eden for his own feelings, he just goes with the flow, tbh.

Also, y’know how he made up those stupid rules in the beginning—Eden not showing his face during the day and only going up to his room after 9 p.m.? Yeah, well… now they eat, read, sleep, cuddle, and make out together.

They’ve also gifted each other stuff and gone on walks. Tristan even ends up asking Eden to stay as his personal pianist, which feels selfish 'cause it downplays Eden’s career and efforts.

But honestly, all in all, Tristan’s a true gentleman—rich as hell but with manners. He’s not pushy, really confident, fair and cooperative.

There’s this one chapter I hold near and dear to my heart. Nobody had heard from him all day, and at night, Eden tries to sleep in the guest room. But then he gets up and starts looking for him. It turns out Tristan was drunk on two bottles of wine, slouched in a chair in the library.

Eden literally goes up to him and admires him for quite a bit before he turns to throw some wood into the fireplace, but before he leaves he feels a stare so he turns around, and there is Tristan, half asleep in his chair, stretching out his arm, silently signalling that Eden should sit on his lap.

They start to cuddle on set chair, and Tristan is basically like, “Why are you having this effect on me?” before falling asleep

And then, after they wake up, they switch over to the guest room. Before that tho, Eden literally assumes they’re going to sleep separately, but no — Tristan comes up with a silly excuse like, “Suddenly the 3rd floor feels so far away.”

Then, in bed, Tristan says, “Come warm me up.” But Eden is cold af, and after he points that out, they continue to cuddle until they fall asleep.

Also, the amount of times this man smirks at him alone, Istg, I need to see how it’s going to be adapted into the manhwa!!!

awwww wait this is so freaking cute! i'm not a big fan of reading novel tbh but it makes me wanna read it
